Embroidery Club

Learn the basics of embroidery and more advance techniques, such as applique, to create beautiful embroidery projects. Create lovely gifts for friends, home decor items, embroider on towels, clothing, table linens and more. Perhaps you would like to start a home business by embroidering items to sell?  Become knowledgable about stabilizers, threads, weights of fabrics that work best for specific projects and take your skills to the next level. 

You must know how to use your machine to take this class. Bring the instruction book that came with your machine to class.

Students must be proficient at threading and operating their embroidery machine to take this class.  This is not a beginner user course!

Purchase fabric and supplies at the shop for a 20% discount (mention registration).  All students must bring their own machine, bring or purchase their own fabric & supplies.  

Please arrive 30 min prior to class start time to setup yourself and your machine.  

Please bring your own:

- Sewing Machine (Due to COVID, we do not currently rent machines).
- Project & supplies
- Basic sewing tools:  scissors, pins, seam ripper, good quality thread and new embroidery sewing machine needles, etc.

The safety of our students & instructors remains our top priority.  We require that all instructors and students wear masks - either in our outdoor classroom tent or inside.  If you are feeling ill, please stay home!  

You may cancel class up to 24 hrs in advance of your class start time; after which you will forfeit your class fee unless we can fill your spot from the waiting list, or you can send a friend.  We appreciate your understanding on this - as a small business, we are fortunate enough to have only the best instructors and they need to be paid  All cancellations must be received in writing,  Sorry, no exceptions.

Instructor: Linda Hofer
Instructor Bio: Linda has honed her sewing skills through many years of experience as well as taking classes with master teachers. Always inquisitive for new ideas and techniques, she has ventured into heirloom sewing, doll making, leather work, children?s clothing, bags, art quilts and machine embroidery. She has also participated in juried art and fiber shows. Her love of sewing, sharing of information & tips create a great sewing experience for students of all ages & skill levels.
Price includes class and COVID fee.
