Fun with Raw Edge Collage

Come make an art quilt while learning raw edge appliqué and satin stitching! We will make whimsical art, using bold, bright fabric and a dash of creativity.  

Supplies you will need:
- 1 fat quarter or equivalent for the background.
- Several 1/2 yd cuts of fabric: black & whites, 6-8 bright solids, 6-8 prints (large and small), polka dots, scraps of various fabrics
- fussy cut flowers, birds, fish, butterflies, and other motifs to enhance your designs. 
- water soluble blue (Elmer's washable glue stick) or Glue-Baste-It (available at the store)
- freezer paper
- pencil
- sharp scissors

Purchase fabric & supplies for class in the shop at a 20% discount.

Minimum Class Size:  There must be at least two students signed up for the class for it to proceed.  We will let you know 24 hours in advance if we do not have enough students and will give you an opportunity to sign up for an alternative class.  

The safety of our students & instructors remains our top priority.  We require that all instructors and students wear masks - either in our outdoor classroom tent or inside.  If you are feeling ill, please stay home!  Students must bring their own sewing machines (no rentals will be provided).  

You may cancel class up to 24 hrs in advance of your class start time; after which you will forfeit your class fee unless we can fill your spot from the waiting list, or you can send a friend.  We appreciate your understanding on this - as a small business, we are fortunate enough to have only the best instructors and they need to be paid!
