Kid's Sewing Class

Kids, mature 5 through 11, will learn the basics of how to use a sewing machine while making their own stuffed friends. They can pick from either Magic Rainbow Unicorns or Rip Tide Sea Creature stuffies panels to make stuffed plushies!

An adult is requested for help with sharp scissors and to help with straight lines otherwise kids should be able to complete the whole project.

Price includes class fee, machine rental and kit (panel/stuffing).  Students must use shop provided machines.

Please arrive 15 min prior to class start time to setup your child and machine, as well as purchase any supplies at a 20% discount.

Minimum Class Size:  There must be at least two students signed up for the class for it to proceed.  We will let you know 24 hours in advance if we do not have enough students and will give you an opportunity to sign up for an alternative class.

The safety of our students & instructors remains our top priority.  We require that all instructors and students wear masks - either in our outdoor classroom tent or inside.  If your child is feeling ill, please stay home!  Students must bring their own sewing machines (no rentals will be provided).

You may cancel class up to 24 hrs in advance of your class start time; after which you will forfeit your class fee unless we can fill your spot from the waiting list, or you can send a friend.  We appreciate your understanding on this - as a small business, we are fortunate enough to have only the best instructors and they need to be paid  All cancellations must be received in writing, info@santacruzvacnsew.com.  Sorry, no exceptions.
