Youth Sewing Summer Session

Youth, 12 yrs+ will learn the basics of how to use a sewing machine and how to choose fabric while making their own sewing projects. What a wonderful way for your youth to express themselves while learning valuable life skills.  Each class focuses on a different project! This session students will make a fabric basket - foundations of craft & bag making.  Students should be able to do basic cutting & pinning.  

Price includes class fee, machine rental and kit (choice of 2 fat quarters & interfacing to make the basket and Thread).  Students must use shop provided machines.   

Please arrive a few minutes early to help setup your child and machine, pick out fabric, as well as purchase any supplies at a 15% discount.  Class fee can be applied to purchasing new sewing machine!

Minimum Class Size:  There must be at least two students signed up for the class for it to proceed.  We will let you know 24 hours in advance if we do not have enough students and will give you an opportunity to sign up for an alternative class.   

You may cancel class up to 24 hrs in advance of your class start time; after which you will forfeit your class fee unless we can fill your spot from the waiting list, or you can send a friend.  We appreciate your understanding on this - as a small business, we are fortunate enough to have only the best instructors and they need to be paid  All cancellations must be received in writing, info@santacruzvacnsew.com.  Sorry, no exceptions.
