Beginning Sewing Zipper Pouch Bag (Winter Session)

Learn the basics of sewing while making a fun, stylish zipper pouch bag.  Zippers can be intimidating but working with Phoebe in this class will make it much more approachable! This class will focus on setting a zipper into purse/pouch that you will finish & take home to show-off! This class makes a zipper pouch from either a panel or 2 fat quarters and a zipper. 

You will learn the basics of placing & sewing a zipper and construction techniques.  This class is tailored to building skills on general and garment sewing. 

Please arrive 15 min prior to class start time to setup yourself, your machine and purchase any supplies at a 15% discount.

Minimum Class Size:  There must be at least two students signed up for the class for it to proceed.  We will let you know 24 hours in advance if we do not have enough students and will give you an opportunity to sign up for an alternative class.  

The safety of our students & instructors remains our top priority.  We require that all instructors and students wear masks - either in our outdoor classroom tent or inside.  If you are feeling ill, please stay home!  Students can rent machines for an additional $35.  Please call ahead of time to ensure availability.  

You may cancel class up to 24 hrs in advance of your class start time; after which you will forfeit your class fee unless we can fill your spot from the waiting list, or you can send a friend.  We appreciate your understanding on this - as a small business, we are fortunate enough to have only the best instructors and they need to be paid  All cancellations must be received in writing, info@santacruzvacnsew.com.  Sorry, no exceptions.
