Beginning Sewing Boho Bag

Learn the basics of sewing while constructing a fashionable & functional bag.  This boho style bag can look casual like a book book bag/grocery sack, or it can feel chic like a purse, it's so versatile!  In this class you will make this reversible boho bag that you will finish & take home to show-off while you learn how to sew!  You will mainly use a straight stitch, but also learn the basics of using the different stitches on your sewing machine, as well as construction techniques including sewing on curves and attaching straps.  This class is tailored to building skills on general and garment sewing.  

Students must have completed New Sewing Machine Owners Class or have a basic understanding/mastery of their machine to take this class. 

Please arrive 15 min prior to class start time to setup yourself, your machine and purchase your kit or any supplies at 15% discount.

Minimum Class Size:  There must be at least two students signed up for the class for it to proceed.  We will let you know 24 hours in advance if we do not have enough students and will give you an opportunity to sign up for an alternative class.  

The safety of our students & instructors remains our top priority.  We require that all instructors and students wear masks - either in our outdoor classroom tent or inside.  If you are feeling ill, please stay home!

You may cancel class up to 24 hrs in advance of your class start time; after which you will forfeit your class fee unless we can fill your spot from the waiting list, or you can send a friend.  We appreciate your understanding on this - as a small business, we are fortunate enough to have only the best instructors and they need to be paid!
