Beginning Sewing Pajamas

Learn the basics of sewing and garment construction while making pajamas!.  Learn the nuances of reading a pattern, sizing, cutting and construction techniques for collars, pockets, waistbands and drawstrings.  We will be making theFran Pajamas from the Closet Core pattern with lots of different variations to personalize and make these your own.  These easy & fun pajamas are as easy to make as they are fun to wear!   

You will mainly use a straight stitch, but also learn the basics of using the different stitches on your sewing machine, as well as construction techniques including sewing on curves and working with an elastic waistband.  This class is tailored to building skills on general and garment sewing.  

Students must have completed New Sewing Machine Owners Class or have a basic understanding/mastery of their machine to take this class. 

Please arrive 15 min prior to class start time to setup yourself, your machine and purchase your kit.

Minimum Class Size:  We reserve the right to cancel class if there are less than two students signed up for the class.  We will let you know 24 hours in advance if we do not have enough students and will give you an opportunity to sign up for an alternative class. 

You may cancel class up to 24 hrs in advance of your class start time; after which you will forfeit your class fee unless we can fill your spot from the waiting list, or you can send a friend.  We appreciate your understanding on this - as a small business, we are fortunate enough to have only the best instructors and they need to be paid!
