Free Motion Machine Quilting Winter Session

Bring your sewing machine to learn how to free motion!  This class will familiarize you with how to free motion machine quilt on your own machine.  You will discover how to drop your feed dogs, use & modify tension, thread weight, thread content, needles and movement to create your perfect inspiration!    

Each session will focus on a different "design" or technique for free motion - florals, swirls, etc. Take the series and perfect them all!

For class, you will need to:

- Bring your machine & free motion quilting foot specifically for your machine (have it fitted by our staff if needed)
- Ensure that your sewing machine has the ability to drop the feed dogs
- Ensure your machine has been recently serviced or is in good working order.  

Please bring your own:

Students must have completed New Sewing Machine Owners Class or have a basic understanding/mastery of their machine to take this class. 

Please bring a machine to class that has been recently serviced or is in good working order.  Unfortunately, we do not have the resources to trouble-shoot or repair machines during class.  If we determine your machine is not working or cannot be used in class, we will either excuse you or offer you one of our machine rentals.  

Minimum Class Size:  We reserve the right to cancel class if there are less than two students signed up for the class.  We will let you know 24 hours in advance if we do not have enough students and will give you an opportunity to sign up for an alternative class.  

You may cancel class up to 24 hrs in advance of your class start time; after which you will forfeit your class fee unless we can fill your spot from the waiting list, or you can send a friend.  We appreciate your understanding on this - as a small business, we are fortunate enough to have only the best instructors and they need to be paid  All cancellations must be received in writing, info@santacruzvacnsew.com.  Sorry, no exceptions.
