Get to Know Your Sewing Machine Spring Session

Join one of our expert instructors to learn the power of your machine. You will get an extensive overview and hands-on application of how to operate your machine, including threading, winding & loading a bobbin, changing a needle and stitch selection/adjustment.

This class is intended for all general purpose sewing machines; it is NOT intended for High-end Sewing Machines, Machine Embroidery or Serger machines.  To learn how to use and get the most out of these machines, please contact us for a 1:1 with one of our experts or register for Get to Know your Serger.

Students must bring their own machine, accessories, supplies and manual to class.  Students must also provide what type of machine they will be sewing on so we can best support your needs! (You can send an email to the shop at info@santacruzvacnsew.com or submit it at the time of order.).

Please bring a machine to class that has been recently serviced or is in good working order.  Unfortunately, we do not have the resources to trouble-shoot or repair machines during class.  If we determine your machine is not working or cannot be used in class, we will either excuse you or offer you one of our machine rentals.

There is a 2 person class maximum as students can expect to receive 1:1 support on their machine to assist with threading, winding & loading a bobbin, changing a needle and stitch selection.  This class is for intended for 18 years or older; please contact the shop if you'd like an exception.

All students must bring their own machine & manual. You will receive a 15% discount when purchasing any fabric or supplies for or during class.

Students must bring their own sewing machines or can rent one of ours for a $35 fee.

You may cancel class up to 24 hrs in advance of your class start time; after which you will forfeit your class fee unless we can fill your spot from the waiting list, or you can send a friend.  We appreciate your understanding on this - as a small business, we are fortunate enough to have only the best instructors and they need to be paid!   All cancellations must be received in writing, info@santacruzvacnsew.com.  Sorry, no exceptions.
