Beginning Crafting / Quilting Jelly Roll Rug Spring Session

Learn the basics of crafting & quilting while constructing a chic rug!  This class will involve both learning a technique and making a crafting/quilting project that is instructional yet easy to create!  You will make a rug using easy 2 1/2" fabric and batting strips.  You will mainly use a straight stitch, but also learn the basics of using your sewing machine and construction techniques for quilting projects.

Students must have completed New Sewing Machine Owners Class or have a basic understanding/mastery of their machine to take this class.  

Please arrive 15 min prior to class start time to setup yourself, your machine and purchase your kit and any supplies at a 15% discount.

Please bring your own:

- Sewing Machine or rent one from us for an additional $35.
- Basic sewing tools:  rotary, scissors, pins, seam ripper, good quality thread and 70/10 sewing machine needles etc.)
-  Class fee includes your choice of our fabulous jelly rolls!

Minimum Class Size:  There must be at least two students signed up for the class for it to proceed.  We will let you know 24 hours in advance if we do not have enough students and will give you an opportunity to sign up for an alternative class. This class is for intended for 18 years or older; please contact the shop if you'd like an exception. 

You may cancel class up to 24 hrs in advance of your class start time; after which you will forfeit your class fee unless we can fill your spot from the waiting list, or you can send a friend.  We appreciate your understanding on this - as a small business, we are fortunate enough to have only the best instructors and they need to be paid  All cancellations must be received in writing, info@santacruzvacnsew.com.  Sorry, no exceptions.
