Intermediate Crafting/Sewing - Memory Teddy Bear

Everyone loves their favorite teddy bear! Make your own or for the one you love in this fun & informative craft plushie making class! In this class you will make the teddy bear while learning the basics of craft making - sewing with curves, piece construction and crafting techniques. Make a memory bear by bringing in your own favorite/nostalgic fabric. Our instructor will consult on the finer points of using scrap or up-cycled fabric.

This is an involved project and you will be assigned homework between classes in order to finish the plushie at the completion of the 2nd class.

Please bring your own:

- Sewing Machine or rent from us for an additional $35 (please call in advance to reserve)
- Basic sewing tools: scissors, pins, seam ripper, good quality thread and 70/10 sewing machine needles etc.)
- Pattern is included as part of class fee, unless you are signed up as one of your complimentary classes with sewing machine purchase. In this case, you will need to purchase the pattern at a 15% discount. Class includes consultation on recommended fabric types - either during or leading up to class. Additional supplies & fabric can be purchased at a 15% discount.

Minimum Class Size: We reserve the right to cancel class if there is less than two students signed up for the class. We will let you know 24 hours in advance if we do not have enough students and will give you an opportunity to sign up for an alternative class. This class is for intended for 18 years or older; please contact the shop if you'd like an exception.

You may cancel class up to 24 hrs in advance of your class start time; after which you will forfeit your class fee unless we can fill your spot from the waiting list, or you can send a friend. We appreciate your understanding on this - as a small business, we are fortunate enough to have only the best instructors and they need to be paid!
