Young Sewing Enthusiast (ages 8 thru 18) Fall Session

Kids & Youth, 8 yrs+ will learn the basics of how to use a sewing machine & various sewing techniques while making their own sewing projects. 

September we will make back-to-school backpacks, learning how to make use of scraps & cording
October we will make plushies, learning about crafting & sewing curves 
November we will make patchwork pillows, learning about crafts & home decor techniques 



Price includes class fee and fabric/notions to make projects.  We make a different project each month, inspiring new ideas and techniques!  Students must use shop provided machines, unless they have purchased their machine from Santa Cruz Vac & Sew.  In this case, they will learn on their machine and we will ask for a nominal kit fee of $15. 

Minimum Class Size:  There must be at least two students signed up for the class for it to proceed.  We will let you know 24 hours in advance if we do not have enough students and will give you an opportunity to sign up for an alternative class.   

You may cancel class up to 24 hrs in advance of your class start time; after which you will forfeit your class fee unless we can fill your spot from the waiting list, or you can send a friend.  We appreciate your understanding on this - as a small business, we are fortunate enough to have only the best instructors and they need to be paid  All cancellations must be received in writing, info@santacruzvacnsew.com.  Sorry, no exceptions.
