Beginning Quilting - Grand Adventure Block Quilt
Feeling adventurous? Set out on a quilting quest with the Grand Adventures Quilt! Have fun with Layer Cakes this make this vibrant & colorful quilt! Join our newest instructor Emy to explore a classic Missouri Quilt star block to make something truly special and unique! Choose from our amazing selection of 10" square Layer Cakes - we recommend a print and a blender pack. You will learn cutting, quilting & piecing techniques.
Our Nov & Dec sessions will be Holiday themed!
Finished size: 90 3/4" X 87 3/4" using both packages of Layer Cakes.
Please bring your own:
- Sewing Machine or rent from us for an additional $35 (please call in advance to reserve)- Basic sewing tools: scissors/rotary, pins/clips, seam ripper, good quality thread, marking pen/chalk and 70/10 sewing machine needles etc.)
- Kit (Your choice of any of our two Layer Cakes, 1 3/4 yard background fabric and 10" square book) is included as part of class fee, unless you are signed up as one of your complimentary classes with sewing machine purchase. In this case, you will need to purchase the $100 kit at a 15% discount. Additional kits and supplies can be purchased at a 15% discount.)
Minimum Class Size: We reserve the right to cancel class if there is less than two students signed up for the class. We will let you know 24 hours in advance if we do not have enough students and will give you an opportunity to sign up for an alternative class. This class is for intended for 18 years or older; please contact the shop if you'd like an exception.
You may cancel class up to 24 hrs in advance of your class start time; after which you will forfeit your class fee unless we can fill your spot from the waiting list, or you can send a friend. We appreciate your understanding on this - as a small business, we are fortunate enough to have only the best instructors and they need to be paid!
