Beginning Quilting - Wavy Baby Quilt
It's Baby Season! So many of you making baby quilts these days. Elevate yours by learning how to quilt with curves. In this one-day workshop, Sarah will help you make your next baby quilt with whacky curves. She will partner with you to pick out five fat quarters, cut & sew curves and assemble your quilt using our exclusive design walls! You can also make the quilt larger by adding boarders or extra blocks.
In this class you will learn tips & techniques for quilting with curves and working with fat quarters.
For class you will need to purchase or bring:
- Basic sewing tools: scissors, pins, seam ripper, good quality thread and 70/10 sewing machine needles etc.)
- Students also need to bring or rent a machine, as well as sewing supplies (rotary/scissors, pins, thread, etc.)
All fabric & supplies can be purchased at a 15% discount. Pattern and your choice of 5 fat quarters is provided as part of class fee.
Minimum Class Size: There must be at least two students signed up for the class for it to proceed. We will let you know 24 hours in advance if we do not have enough students and will give you an opportunity to sign up for an alternative class. This class is for intended for 18 years or older; please contact the shop if you'd like an exception.
You may cancel class up to 24 hrs in advance of your class start time; after which you will forfeit your class fee unless we can fill your spot from the waiting list, or you can send a friend. Instructor Bio: | Sara has been in involved with textiles since she was a teenager. First a hand weaver, then a production Knitwear designer and since 2005, a quilter. She has won many awards for her quilts around the Bay Area and runs a successful long-arm business. |
