Embellishing & Trims Workshop

Why be boring? Create something fancy simply by adding trim or any sort of embellishment. This fun new workshop with our newest instructor Em, will have you "blinging" everything. Workshop includes demo on Florette making and Ric Rac embellished bindings, then we will have an open sew type workshop where you will bring in creations that you want to trim & embellish.

This is a hands-on workshop where you will work with Em on the projects you bring to class to trim & embellish or play around with techniques and our shop supply of trims. Class comes with small kit that includes flower template, your choice of Ric Rac, ribbon or cork trim to use on your creations.

Students must bring their own project & basic sewing supplies like rotary/scissors, pins/clips or spray baste (key for placing & stabilizing trims before sewing) and sewing machine.

Minimum Class Size: We reserve the right to cancel class if there is less than two students signed up for the class. We will let you know 24 hours in advance if we do not have enough students and will give you an opportunity to sign up for an alternative class. This class is for intended for 18 years or older; please contact the shop if you'd like an exception.

You may cancel class up to 24 hrs in advance of your class start time; after which you will forfeit your class fee unless we can fill your spot from the waiting list, or you can send a friend. Instructor Bio:	Emy is a textile artist who's mother taught them how to quilt when the pedal was still out of reach. Inspired by color, unconventional pattern pairings, and quilts that make a big impact; Emy loves to share the methods behind the madness, and making new skills feel more accessible!

Price includes class fee and $20 trim & embellishment kit, unless you are signed up for this class as one of your complimentary classes.. In this case, you will need to purchase kit for $20.
