Young Sewing Enthusiast (ages 8 thru 18) Winter Session

Kids & Youth, 10 yrs+ will learn the basics of how to use a sewing machine & various sewing techniques while making their own sewing projects. 

December we will make infinity scarves, learning about sewing garment and different fabric types
January we will make quillows, learning about quilting & crafting  
February we will make plushies, stuffed animals 

The Winter Session mid-week series will focus on a different project each session, such that students learn an entire curriculum of projects that will highlight different sewing skills & techniques.  A wonderful addition to any home - schooling curriculum!  



Price includes class fee and fabric/notions to make projects.  We make a different project each month, inspiring new ideas and techniques!  Students must use shop provided machines, unless they have purchased their machine from Santa Cruz Vac & Sew.  In this case, they will learn on their machine and we will ask for a nominal kit fee of $15. 

Minimum Class Size:  There must be at least two students signed up for the class for it to proceed.  We will let you know 24 hours in advance if we do not have enough students and will give you an opportunity to sign up for an alternative class.   

You may cancel class up to 24 hrs in advance of your class start time; after which you will forfeit your class fee unless we can fill your spot from the waiting list, or you can send a friend.  We appreciate your understanding on this - as a small business, we are fortunate enough to have only the best instructors and they need to be paid  All cancellations must be received in writing, info@santacruzvacnsew.com.  Sorry, no exceptions.
