Beginning Quilting - Duck & Weave Quilt

This pattern is a fun way to perfect your 1/4" seams, while learning how to cut on the bias or a 45 degree turn.  This is a three part class - in your first session, you will cut & get organized, 2nd session is assembly, and 3rd session is your quilt finishing workshop.  You can expect homework in between sessions and a beautiful quilt!  Kit included as part of class fee.  Makes a 56" x 70" quilt.  

Shown is the duck & weave made for a baby shower!  So versatile in other prints & colors as well - holiday or even novelty.  

For class please bring your sewing machine (or rent one from us for $35), new 70/10 needles, rotary/scissors, pins/clips.  Emy will show you recommended techniques for all of your quilting tools.  

Minimum Class Size:  We reserve the right to cancel class if there are less than two people signed up.  We will let you know 24 hours in advance if we do not have enough people and will give you an opportunity to sign up for an alternative class.  This class is for intended for 18 years or older; please contact the shop if you'd like an exception. 

You may cancel class up to 24 hrs in advance of your class start time; after which you will forfeit your class fee unless we can fill your spot from the waiting list, or you can send a friend.  We appreciate your understanding on this - as a small business, we are fortunate enough to have only the best instructors and they need to be paid  All cancellations must be received in writing, info@santacruzvacnsew.com.  Sorry, no exceptions.
