Young Sewing Enthusiast (10+): Beginning Garment Sewing - Ogden Tank

Virgina is an amazing instructor, inspiring confidence & grace in our youth!  Continue your Young Sewing Enthusiast's sewing journey, to construct this versatile & comfy tank while learning basic garment construction techniques like pattern cutting & construction prep!  This class is intended for our Young Sewing Enthusiasts who have taken 2+ Young Sewing Enthusiast classes and wish to further advance their garment sewing skills.  It's a perfect class to learn & grow!  

The Ogden Tank Top is the perfect strappy top, flattering to all ages. Layering under a t-shirt  or wearing as a slip top, the low front and back V-necklines is figure flattering and easy to sew.  Students will learn garment construction techniques and make something fun.   

First part of class will focus on pattern cutting and construction preparation.  Second & third  class will focus on dress construction, including seams & hems and fitting.  MUST BRING PRE-WASHED FABRIC to class to participate in cutting and hands-on preparation techniques.  Please visit the store or go online to purchase fabric and pattern at a 15% discount.

- Ogden Pattern, rayon fabric and Mettler polyester thread
- 80/12 needles, pins, rotary or scissors, marking pen/pencil

Minimum Class Size:  There must be at least two people signed up for the class for it to proceed.  We will let you know 24 hours in advance if we do not have enough people and will give you an opportunity to sign up for an alternative class.  This class is for intended for 18 years or older; please contact the shop if you'd like an exception. 

You may cancel class up to 24 hrs in advance of your class start time; after which you will forfeit your class fee unless we can fill your spot from the waiting list, or you can send a friend.  We appreciate your understanding on this - as a small business, we are fortunate enough to have only the best instructors and they need to be paid  All cancellations must be received in writing, info@santacruzvacnsew.com.  Sorry, no exceptions.
