Serger T-Shirt Dress

Continue your serger journey by making the Lodo T-Shirt Dress, an elevated take on a basic t-shirt dress. It has a straight fit through the waist and hips and a slightly tapered hem to create a subtle cocoon shape. It has a V neck at center front and an extended cap sleeve. Both the neckline and armholes are finished with a woven facing for stability and structure.  You can make the dress with a hem that either hits mid calf with a slit at center back for versatility or a couple of inches above the knee.  It’s size inclusive, with sizes 0-18. We can make this entire dress on the serger!!

Please bring your own:

• Serger (we have one for rent for $35 if you need it) and serger thread to match your knit!
• Shears/Rotary, Pins & Clips. 

Class includes the Lodo dress pattern and your choice of one of our fun knits!  Students must have a good working knowledge of their serger or have taken the Mastering Your Serger class.  

Please bring a machine to class that has been recently serviced or is in good working order.  Unfortunately, we do not have the resources to trouble-shoot or repair sergers during class.  If we determine your machine is not working or cannot be used in class, we will either excuse you or offer you one of our machine rentals.  

Minimum Class Size:  We reserve the right to cancel class if there is less than two students signed up for the class.  We will let you know 24 hours in advance if we do not have enough students and will give you an opportunity to sign up for an alternative class.    

You may cancel class up to 24 hrs in advance of your class start time; after which you will forfeit your class fee unless we can fill your spot from the waiting list, or you can send a friend.  We appreciate your understanding on this - as a small business, we are fortunate enough to have only the best instructors and they need to be paid  All cancellations must be received in writing, info@santacruzvacnsew.com.  Sorry, no exceptions.
