Intermediate Craft Sewing - Violet Backpack
The backpack is super functional and stylish! It's perfect for carrying all your necessities. Small enough to be a purse, or used for a small child. You will learn techniques to make handbags, as well as putting in a zipper and recommended notions to make your bags look professionally made! You can quilt the fabric for an amazing effect and to create more body for the backpack. The backpack includes a front zippered pocket and inside slip pockets and adjustable straps to fit anyone. Finished bag size: 11" x 9" x 4". This is a 2-part class and you can expect to have homework between sessions in order to complete, as well as extra time if you would like to quilt your fabric before making the backpack. Pattern and kit will be provided! We will use our newest gorgeous Linen Mochi from Figo! 
Choose from our pre-made kits or from newest, gorgeous Figo Linen Mochi collection, our pre-made kits. Each kit includes all of the notions (zipper, D-rings, etc) and Annie’s soft & stable to make your creation. 
Students can expect to complete the bag on the completion of class, but expect to do homework between sessions! Also allow extra time if you chose to quilt your own fabric.

Please bring your own:
- Basic sewing tools: scissors, pins, seam ripper, good quality thread and 80/12 sewing machine needles etc.)
- Kit (fabric, pattern, zipper & stabilizers) is included as part of class fee, unless you are signed up as one of your complimentary classes with sewing machine purchase. In this case, you will need to purchase a kit at a 15% discount. Additional kits and supplies can be purchased at a 15% discount.
Minimum Class Size: We reserve the right to cancel class if there is less than two students signed up for the class. We will let you know 24 hours in advance if we do not have enough students and will give you an opportunity to sign up for an alternative class. This class is for intended for 18 years or older; please contact the shop if you'd like an exception.
You may cancel class up to 24 hrs in advance of your class start time; after which you will forfeit your class fee unless we can fill your spot from the waiting list, or you can send a friend. We appreciate your understanding on this - as a small business, we are fortunate enough to have only the best instructors and they need to be paid!
