Beginning Sewing Zipper Pillow
Are you fearful of sewing zippers or putting in piping?
Come join Clare where you will set in a zipper & piping to make a stylish pillow! Learn the basics of sewing while making a chic pillow. Working with piping and zippers can be intimidating but Clare makes it easy & fun!
You will learn the basics of zippers & piping, placing & sewing a zipper and construction techniques. This class is tailored to building skills on general and decor sewing.
Class fee includes a kit, with a pillow form, pillow panel, your choice of maxi piping and zipper.
Please bring your own:
- Basic sewing tools: scissors, pins, seam ripper, good quality thread and 70/10 sewing machine needles etc.)Students can rent machines for $35 per class session ($70 for both sessions in this class) - please call the shop to secure yours ahead of class.
Students must have completed New Sewing Machine Owners Class or have a basic understanding/mastery of their machine to take this class.
Minimum Class Size: There must be at least two students signed up for the class for it to proceed. We will let you know 24 hours in advance if we do not have enough students and will give you an opportunity to sign up for an alternative class.
You may cancel class up to 24 hrs in advance of your class start time; after which you will forfeit your class fee unless we can fill your spot from the waiting list, or you can send a friend.
