Beginning Crafting/Sewing - Easter Basket
Make an Easter Basket filled with Easter Eggs! This is a great scrap buster project! Spare the cavities and egg decorating by making fabric scrap eggs!
This is a confident beginner craft project and students can expect to finish most of the project in class and learn the foundations of making of crafts. You will use a basket frame to make this adorable Easter basket.
Please bring your own:
- Sewing Machine or rent from us for an additional $35 (please call in advance to reserve)- Basic sewing tools: scissors, pins, seam ripper, good quality thread and 70/10 sewing machine needles etc.)
- Walking or zipper foot to sew around the basket frame and to quilt eggs. Let us sell & fit your machine for one.
- Kit (pattern/basket frame with your choice of fabric, batting & fabric scraps) must be purchased separately for $35. Additional supplies & fabric can be purchased at a 15% discount.
-Feel free to bring fabric scraps you want to use for additional eggs!
Students must have completed Get to Know Your Sewing Machine Class or have a solid understanding of their machine and basic sewing concepts to take this class.
Minimum Class Size: We reserve the right to cancel class if there is less than two students signed up for the class. We will let you know 24 hours in advance if we do not have enough students and will give you an opportunity to sign up for an alternative class. This class is for intended for 18 years or older; please contact the shop if you'd like an exception.
You may cancel class up to 24 hrs in advance of your class start time; after which you will forfeit your class fee unless we can fill your spot from the waiting list, or you can send a friend. We appreciate your understanding on this - as a small business, we are fortunate enough to have only the best instructors and they need to be paid!
