Beginning Quilting - About Face Quilt

This quilt design is a fun way to perfect your 1/4" seams, while learning how to work with pre-cuts.  One pattern - so many possibilities!  You will be surprised how easy the About Face quilt is and beautiful with a collection of 5" squares and a couple of solids.  You will love this quilt - it’s so modern and easy! Kit included as part of class fee - pattern and enough fabric to make quilt face.  Makes a 51" x 60" quilt.  Take our Quilt Finishing Class to quilt or bind!


For class please bring your sewing machine, new 70/10 needles, rotary/scissors, pins/clips.  You will need to purchase the $49.99 kit.  We will show recommended techniques for all your quilting tools, as well as color placement to make ombre effects.  

Minimum Class Size:  We reserve the right to cancel class if there are less than two people signed up for the class.  We will let you know 24 hours in advance if we do not have enough people and will give you an opportunity to sign up for an alternative class.  This class is for intended for 18 years or older; please contact the shop if you'd like an exception. 

You may cancel class up to 24 hrs in advance of your class start time; after which you will forfeit your class fee unless we can fill your spot from the waiting list, or you can send a friend.  We appreciate your understanding on this - as a small business, we are fortunate enough to have only the best instructors and they need to be paid  All cancellations must be received in writing, info@santacruzvacnsew.com.  Sorry, no exceptions.
