Young Sewing Enthusiast Sewing Bootcamp

Want to inspire a next generation of sewists ages 10 to 18?  Send your youth to our Summer Sewing Camp!  Over this week long camp, young sewists will learn how to sew, make fun & useful projects.  Each day is a three-hour session, including a break & sewing machine demonstration, and will focus on a different project (that highlights different sewing skills). Students will work with the experts to learn how to comfortably use our classroom sewing machine, hand sewing, machine appliqué embroider, quilting & up cycling, craft & garment construction techniques and more.   Camp projects are designed for students to pick their own journey and customize based on their interest(s)!  

The exciting week line-up includes:

Monday - Pet Toys / Dog Bandanas




Tuesday - Nature Inspired Patchwork Drawstring Tote or Clutch/Pencil & Accessory Bag



Wednesday - Plushie Fruit/Veggie Basket 

Thursday - Refashioned / Upcycled Tee (using applique, recycled patch pocket or decorative trim) 



Friday - Beach inspired apparel, students choice of Wrap Skirt or Beach Coverup with Embroidery Applique / Boardshorts 

Parents are welcome on the last day of camp for an open house and fashion show.

Your Young Sewing Enthusiast will leave the week feeling inspired to create & do more and energized with a set of skills on how to use a sewing machine and construction techniques.  We are offering it two different weeks this summer - students can sign up for either or both weeks (at a discount) and expect to create something different each day.  We have so many return students - which speaks volumes to what they can make and do!! We hope to teach & inspire your Youth this summer!!
