Upcycled Applique!
Beginner friendly — no experience necessary. If you can use a sewing machine, you’re ready.
What to Bring
• A clean, pressed garment of your choice (cotton works beautifully)
• Fabric for fussy cutting — think florals, butterflies, birds, and botanicals (we have grab bags for $5)
• Sewing machine
• Applique scissors (small & regular size). We recommend Karen Kay Buckley.

• 1/2 yd of Heat n Bond or Steam-A-Seam, double sided fusible web
• Embroidery floss — pearl cotton works wonderfully
• Embroidery needle, size
Purchase any of these of supplies for class in the shop at a 15% discount. Value priced kit of $50 includes a fabric scrap bag with florals & prints to be fussy cut, Karen Kay Buckley scissors, fusible web, your choice of embroidery floss and package of embroidery needles.
Minimum Class Size: There must be at least four students signed up for the class for it to proceed. We will let you know 24 hours in advance if we do not have enough students and will give you an opportunity to sign up for an alternative class.
You may cancel class up to 24 hrs in advance of your class start time; after which you will forfeit your class fee unless we can fill your spot from the waiting list, or you can send a friend. We appreciate your understanding on this - as a small business, we are fortunate enough to have only the best instructors and they need to be paid! For Sandi, quilting is about listening carefully to the fabric and translating its story into beautiful and whimsical art. Sandi is a passionate teacher. Sharing her quilts and techniques, Sandi's goal is to inspire each of her students to go out of their comfort zone and enjoy being creative. |
