Advanced Beginner Crazy Quilt

When you buy your fabric, do you “round up a quarter yard, just to be safe”? Well, you’re in good company - THIS is the class for you!

Hone your quilting skills and use up all your beautiful leftovers! This class will involve both learning a technique and making a quilting project that is a one-of-a-kind creation! You will be mainly use a straight stitch, but also have the opportunity to explore decorative stitch options.  Students can expect to finish the quilt top as part of this and/or a supplemental Quilt Finishing Workshop class.  

Students must have completed Get to Know Your Sewing Machine Class or have a basic understanding/mastery of their machine to take this class.  

Please bring your own:

- Sewing Machine (a machine can be rented for $35).
- Basic sewing tools:  rotary, scissors, pins, seam ripper, good quality thread and 70/10 sewing machine needles etc.)
- Scraps! If you need more, there are scrappy grab bags in the shop, as well as all of our other fabric (which can be purchased day of class for 15% off)

Minimum Class Size:  We reserve the right to cancel class if there are less than two students signed up for the class.  We will let you know 24 hours in advance if we do not have enough students and will give you an opportunity to sign up for an alternative class.  

You may cancel class up to 24 hrs in advance of your class start time; after which you will forfeit your class fee unless we can fill your spot from the waiting list, or you can send a friend.  We appreciate your understanding on this - as a small business, we are fortunate enough to have only the best instructors and they need to be paid  All cancellations must be received in writing, info@santacruzvacnsew.com.  Sorry, no exceptions.
