Intermediate Quilting - Gathering Wildflowers
Gathering Wildflowers uses a large width of fabric prints as a colorful accent to sweet floral quilt blocks. The small pieced flowers make a stunning accent to the central theme. It’s ideal for more experienced quilters looking for a challenge and for those who love florals! Class includes kit which comes in the yellow or midnight colorway as shown, to make a 53 3/4" x 57 1/2" quilt. First class focuses on cutting & prep and second class on assembly and piecing. Expect homework between sessions!
The Superbloom fabrics from Robin Pickens of Moda Fabrics are stunning! In class, you can apply & perfect your quilting skills for traditional patchwork piecing, half square triangles, flying geese and 'stitch and flip' corners.
For class, please bring rotary, your favorite ruler, pins/clips, 70/10 needles and sewing machine.
Minimum Class Size: We reserve the right to cancel class if there are less than two people signed up. We will let you know 24 hours in advance if we do not have enough people and will give you an opportunity to sign up for an alternative class. This class is for intended for 18 years or older; please contact the shop if you'd like an exception.
You may cancel class up to 24 hrs in advance of your class start time; after which you will forfeit your class fee unless we can fill your spot from the waiting list, or you can send a friend.
